Company History

Metavante began in 1964 as M&I Data Services, the data processing subsidiary of Marshall & Illsley (M&I) Corporation.  In 2000, the company was re-named Metavante, though it remains a wholly-owned subsidiary of M&I. The company is now an industry leader in financial services technology, including software application development, back-end processing and customer support.
