Festa Italia, Madison will be at McKee Park in Fitchburg from May 30 - June 1, 2008. Come visit us for three days of great food, entertainment and activities like the annual bocce tournaments.

Please join us in exploring the vitality of Madison's multicultural Greenbush Neighborhood.

Activities include ethnic dancing, music-making and singing, playing bocce, exploring the history of the old Greenbush and learning of the exciting events in the new one.

Music has always been important to this community, with the accordion as a key component of the music of many of these cultures.

Our Group is made of people from various dance and music performing groups, churches and synagogues, neighborhood associations and other diversity groups who share like values.

Since the Jewish culture was an integral part of the Greenbush from the earliest days, we have formed Salaam Shalom/Greenbush Hebrew Ensemble to celebrate this culture in music and dance.

A new performing group is the El Grupo Nueva Cancion which plays music from all of Latin America.

Another group is the Bayview Foundation located in the "Greenbush" which provides support to low-income residents. One example is the Artsbridge Program which has cultural enrichment projects for their school-age children.
