Madison Area Soccer Hall of Fame | |
|
People have been kicking a soccer ball around in Madison since the early 1920's. Today, there are over 20,000 kids and adults playing in the Madison area. Along the way there have been "friends of soccer" who have dedicated time and energy to help the game grow. Along the way, the skills of players have improved considerably and the game continues to grow in popularity. The Madison Area Soccer Hall of Fame has been created to recognize the achievements of those who have been involved in the "beautiful game". MASHoF is pleased to announce that we now have our fourth (and final) sponsor for the Hall of Fame. Matt Lombardino of BreakAway Sports indoor soccer facility has committed to the project. Rick Hong of Middleton Sports and Fitness has committed to support the Hall of Fame. Most recently, Bruce Russell of The Claddagh has committed to support the Madison area soccer community in this project. Last but not least, Eric Fritz, former State Major League player and now owner & President of Keva Sports Center has joined the party.
