Volunteering at the South Central Wisconsin Chapter

Volunteers are the backbone of Alzheimer's Association Chapters nationwide, and volunteering your time at the South Central Chapter is a great way to make a difference in the lives of Alzheimer families in our community! If you would like to volunteer, please call us at 608-232-3400 or 1-800-272-3900 to discuss the many different ways you can get involved.

Opportunities include, but are not limited to:

  • Office help: Answer phones (reception), database work, put together mailings, bookkeeping assistance, Helpline volunteer, etc.
  • Help out at special events (Wine and Roses; A Round to Remember; Memory Walk) or join a planning committee
  • Co-facilitate a support group
  • Become a Speaker's Bureau presenter
  • Manage the lending library
  • Serve on Public Policy Committee, Education Committee, Communications Committee, Legal and Financial Planning Committee, Public Policy Committee
