The Aldo Leopold Nature Center's (ALNC) mission is to provide hands-on programs for young children, their teachers and families that "...teach the student to see the land, to understand what he sees, and enjoy what he understands" in the spirit of famed ecologist Aldo Leopold. Through these programs, we foster admiration and respect for nature and the understanding of the interconnectedness of all living things.
