Parking Lots
The Visitor Center parking lot is open year-round from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Other parking lots in the Arboretum are open from dawn to dusk.
How To Find Us
There are two main entrances. The northernmost is where McCaffery Drive, North Wingra Drive and South Mills Street intersect. The southernmost entrance is north of the Beltline (Hwy 12/18) at the intersection of Seminole Highway and McCaffery Drive. Around the perimeter of the Arboretum there are multiple pedestrian accesses, some of them near Madison metro bus stops.
Programs
Public tours and other programs take place on most weekends. Special programs for private groups are available for a fee. Knowledgeable Arboretum staff members are usually on hand to answer questions about restoration, gardening with native plants, Wisconsin?s natural history, and other subjects.
