Friends of the Arboretum is an important support group that helps the UW-Madison Arboretum fulfill its mission. Membership in the Friends is a commitment to the principles and practice of restoration ecology. It is also an opportunity to join in a variety of workshops, field trips, and special events.

The strength of the Friends lies in its members - willingness to support the Arboretum with their time, talents, and membership dues. Many Friends also volunteer in activities such as seed collecting and the Wingra Oak Savanna Restoration Project.
