Types of Membership in Beit Ya'acov: [ ] Mishpocha (Family), Full, Tithing Member: Commits to attending every possible Shabbat Service, contributes time, energy and funding toward the Beit Ya'acov Mission [ ] Machatunim (Close Relatives), Contributory Member: Tries to come as often as possible, but cannot commit to more often than quarterly attendance, may come more often and observe Torah Festivals with us, willing to contribute voluntary resources which may include funding [ ] Chavarim Tovim (Good Friends), Interested Member: Attends Shabbat Services occasionally, but wants to be kept informed of Special Events, Torah Festivals as observed, etc., willing to make sustaining financial commitment to help defray Synagogue expenses [ ] Chavarim (Friends), Members in name and attitude, but for geographical or other reasons cannot attend Synagogue functions, but would like to be considered as a form of Member through minimal financial support due to belief in our Mission.
Not everyone who attends Beit Ya?acov Messianic events desires nor should feel obligated to become any type of member. Membership requires commitment, and as such should only be considered after careful prayer and consultation with other Members and/or the Leader(s) of the Congregation. |
