Harvest Potluck!
Date: 10/11/2005
Join your CFGN friends from 5:30-7pm at the UW-Extension Office (1 Fen Oak Court) for a harvest potluck.
Don't know what to bring? Here are a few ideas:
- Susan Boldt distributed many Seed to Supper seeds in the spring, and would like to see how they turned out! Bring a dish using these vegetables, the whole vegetables themselves for tasting, or photos.
- Cook up one of the tasty garden recipes from the CFGN cookbook found on our website.
- Something new for the group, such as: papalo and epazote (Mexican herbs), huitlacoche (corn smut), Italian heirlooms, Asian vegetables growing over at Focuscorp, etc.
We'll do a "State of the Gardens" report out on what everybody did this season and things coming up.
