Chapter Officers elected for 2008

Scorgie to serve second term as President

Jim Scorgie has been re-elected as President of the Madison Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society for a one-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2008. It will be his second year in the position.

The Chapter sponsors and manages the Capitol Chordsmen Chorus, as well as several affiliated quartets.

Others re-elected for 2008 by Chapter members at the Oct. 30 meeting were: Chuck Barrett, Secretary; Todd Fletcher, Music and Performance Vice President; Mike McCoy, Marketing and Public Relations Vice President; and Matt Banbury, Chapter Development Vice President.

Newly-elected to their positions were: Dave Barger, Treasurer; Mike Christopherson, Individual Member Development Vice President; and Jay Mulder, Member-at-Large.
