Our second annual Barbershoppers' Thanksgiving Concert Nov. 1 offered a real feast of barbershop music for an estimated 270 fans! It also benefited area food pantries as we accepted donations at the concert totaling $712 for Second Harvest Food Bank. Second Harvest told us that will provide an additional 4,900 meals in our 16-county area! THANKS TO ALL WHO DONATED!
Also appearing were: Counterpoint, a "chronologically confused" collegiate men's quartet with international competition experience and a headliner for our annual show next April; the Ragazzi boys' choir and the Cantabile girls' choir from the Madison Youth Choirs, and area quartet Tag-Along. The concert, our second such annual event, again was held at Asbury United Methodist Church, 6101 University Ave. "We sang so others may eat." Even if you missed the concert, please consider donating to the food bank or any area food pantry.
