About our Neighborhood

The purpose of the Carpenter-Ridgeway Neighborhood Association is to maintain and improve the neighborhood through democratic participation and involvement.
The Association will work for the achievement of its purpose by creating and supporting a spirit of neighborhood among area residents through all appropriate means including the following:

  • Develop and encourage interest and participation in neighborhood issues and concerns. Provide study and discussion of questions relevant to the neighborhood.
  • Provide information to all residents about issues pertinent to the neighborhood. Educate residents regarding the potential for neighborhood development, problems, and processes involved.
  • Work cooperatively with the City of Madison, local organizations, developers, agencies, and elected officials to improve and further the neighborhood's best interests.
