Volunteer Musicians To Play in VFW Band

Volunteer community musicians are invited to participate in the all-volunteer community band from September through May (December off). The first 2008 rehearsal is Thursday, September 4, 7:00 p.m. at VFW Post 1318, 133 E. Lakeside Street, Madison. The band rehearses the first two Thursdays each month and plays public service concerts the remaining Thursday evenings. 7:00 p.m. The VFW Band is co-sponsored by the VFW Post 1318 and the Capitol City Band Association. MUSICIANS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN THE BAND ANYTIME FROM SEPTEMBER THROUGH MAY. Call 608 835-9861.
