Verona Area 2009 CROP Hunger Walk

Join us to help end Hunger in our community and around the world.
The Verona Area CROP Hunger Walk will be held on October 11, 2009. The event will begin at the Salem United Church of Christ, 502 Mark Dr. Registration at 12:45 and the 3 mile (appr.) will begin at 1:30 pm. Those unable to walk can join a group of rockers in rocking chairs at the church during the time of the event. 25% of the funds raised in Verona will go to the Verona food pantry.

35th Annual Madison Area CROP Hunger Walk

Join us to help end Hunger in our community and around the world.
The 35th Annual Madison Area CROP Hunger Walk to be held on Sunday, October 18. The Walk will begin and end at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 1609 University Ave. Registration will begin at 12:45 pm and the 1 or 3 mile Walks will begin at 1:30 pm. Organized locally, the Madison Area CROP Hunger Walk has set a goal of 600 Walkers and hopes to raise $80,000 to help stop hunger and poverty here in our community and around the world, through self-help initiatives. A portion of the funds raised here in Madison will go to the local food pantries. Hundreds of Walkers raised more than $76,000 in the 2008 CROP Hunger Walk.
