Hyvää joulua ja onnellista uutta vuotta!
The annual Pikkujoulo/Christmas party will be held on December 7th from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at the Idun Lodge located on the east side of Madison at 2262 Winnebago St. The Society provides the salmon, ham, coffee, glöggi, lemonade as well as gifts for the children. Members and guests are asked to bring their own tableware, and an accompaniment dish, bread, salad, or dessert to share, as well as their adult beverage of choice, such as wine or beer. There will be a charge of $3 to cover the cost of renting the lodge.
Also, please bring a Finnish or Christmas related item or baked goods to be included in our raffle. Tickets can be purchased for $1 or 6 for $5 to win the gift of your choice if your tickets are picked. Joulupukki (Santa) usually arrives after dinner to hand out presents to the youngsters.
This is our most fun event of the year so a good time will be had by all! Be sure to be there!
