About Us

Our club was founded on July 21, 1982 with 27 members. We now have over 60 members. We are the first and only Golden K Club in Madison, and continue to be the only senior citizen Kiwanis Club in the city.

We serve by volunteering and contributing in time and money to a variety of organizations and projects. Examples are: Camp Waubeck; World Wide Service Projects; Kiwanis International; Special Olympics; Hospice Care, Inc.; Trees for Tomorrow; Parenting Program-St. Mary's Hospital and many more. We are recognized for having outstanding program speakers. The club organized its own foundation and the income from the foundation helps the club make financial contributions to some of the projects listed above. Income for the foundation comes from members who want to honor past members by giving in their memory, or by honoring our own birthdays.
