High Point Church is a non-denominational, evangelical fellowship that began its community-based ministry in 1961. Since that time, a fledgling house church has grown to a congregation of more than 400 people who represent the Wisconsin demographics of both Madison and Dane County. We moved to our present site in 1990. A dedicated Pastoral Staff team oversees major areas of ministry and equips others in the congregation to use their God-given gifts in joyfully serving others. Elders are elected by the congregation each year to augment and serve with the Pastoral Staff. A volunteer staff team of hundreds helps keep the ministries of our church thriving and growing. Together, we seek to glorify God, making disciples of Jesus Christ who will dispense his love to the world. High Point Church is situated on a 17 acre campus on the west side of Madison. Our facility includes an 1100 seat sanctuary, Christian Education area complete with gymnasium, and a large library. In the Fall of 2000, "The Micah Center" for Education and Communication was completed and open for ministry. There is easy access to High Point at 7702 Old Sauk Road by exiting the Beltline Highway {12/14} at Old Sauk Road, traveling 1/3 mile east on Old Sauk Road, through the intersection of Old Sauk and High Point Roads, to the church - located on the north side of the street. There is ample parking for all services and events. |
