Mission Statement

Centro Hispano of Dane County exists to empower Latinos to be full and active participants in the community and to promote and preserve knowledge of and pride in the Latino culture and heritage. To accomplish its mission, it:

• Promotes increased and equitable opportunities for Latinos
• Provides client services through information and referral, employment and training, translation, and housing assistance, among other services.
• Provides educational programs for youth to promote higher academic achievement
• Promotes understanding and appreciation of Latino culture and heritage through community events and multicultural education and training
