Volunteer Opportunities

After-School Youth Programs

Become a tutor or mentor and be a positive role model for our youth!

We have programs in middle and high schools that need volunteers to help students achieve their highest academic potential. Hours are Monday through Thursday, from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m.

The ASPIRA program helps high school students participate in cultural and educational activities to to promote academic achievement while preventing gang involvement, alcohol and other drug abuse.

The JUVENTUD program provides academic support and tutorial services for middle school students. Parental involvement is highly encouraged.

JUVENTUD MAS works with middle school students to develop math and science skills.

JUVENTUD de Verano involves middle school students during seven weeks of their summer vacation.

Agency Volunteers

Centro Hispano also needs volunteers to assist clients in search of employment, housing, and other basic needs. We also help guide and refer them to other resources and services in the community.
