What is HospiceCare Inc?

Our Mission:

HospiceCare's mission is to provide quality of life at the end of life by:

Caring compassionately for patients and families dealing with life-limiting illnesses;
Advocating for all persons in our community to have quality end-of-life options that afford them comfort and dignity;
Respecting our patients, families, employees, volunteers, parnters;
Educating our patients, families, partners, public and media about end-of-life issues.

Hospice is a unique kind of care that provides comfort and support for people and families dealing with life-limiting illnesses. Expert pain and symptom management combines with compassionate care to allow patients to live each day the the fullest, in their home or homelike setting, such as assisted-living facilities or hospice inpatient centers.

HospiceCare provides physical, emotional and spiritual care through an interdisciplinary team of doctors, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, social workers, counselors, chaplains and volunteers, all working with the patient and family to create a plan of care tailored to individual needs.
