Congratulations MISS FESTA 2008 Festa Italia 2008 will be held May 30-June 1! 5/12/2008

CONGRATULATIONS to Christy Pullara, Miss Festa 2008!

Christy is the daughter of Butch and Nancy Pullara, and the Grandaughter of Mary Pullara and the late Tony Pullara.

Christy will soon graduate with honors from UW-Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. After graduation she will begin working at UW Hospital. She is extremely proud of her Italian heritage and is excited to be an ambassador for the Italian community of Madison.

Christy will represent Festa Italia in the Monona Memorial Day parade and, of course, at Festa Italia at McKee Farms Park from May 30-June 1, 20008.

We are so proud to have Christy serve as Miss Festa.

Miss Festa serves as a goodwill ambassador whose duties include representing the Italian Community of Madison at Festa Italia, greeting and mingling with guests at the festival, participating in media events/opportunities with regard to the advertising/publicity for Festa Italia, and other duties as may be determined by the Festa Committee, Italian Workmen's Club Council, and the Italian American Women's Club Board.
