About the Dane County Chapter

In Dane County, about 25 out of 55 - 60 miles of the Ice Age Trail are complete. Our main segments of hikeable Trail, from the north, are: Lodi Marsh State Wildlife Area, Indian Lake County Park, Table Bluff, Cross Plains, Valley View, University Ridge, Verona segment (Hwy PD to Prairie Moraine County Park), Badger State rail-trail and the Brooklyn State Wildlife Area.

We welcome your involvement with or use of the Trail, whether it be hiking the Trail on your own, participating in any of the many events we offer, or volunteering to help with the Trail in other ways.

Another valuable way to support the Trail is to join the Ice Age Trail Alliance (formerly, Ice Age Park & Trail Foundation). Simply go to the web site at http://www.iceagetrail.org/.

Thanks - see you on the Trail!
