Tom Wise Valley View Steward. Restoration expertise contributes awesome advice in various trail layout and design sessions to achieve ultimate sustainability of the tread and landscape. Old oaks are thankful for his chainsaw clearing of crowding invasive shrubs.

Judy Larson-Clements Self-proclaimed Signage Fairy--painted many yellow blazes to reassure hikers they are still on the trail. In winter, she donated materials and time for an outreach event at a local store's gift wrap table. Toss in a Trail Angel shuttle too.

Dave Jenkins Dependable prairie restorationist, participating everywhere from Brooklyn to Lodi Marsh State Wildlife Areas. He voices his trail support during government meeting public comment periods. Now he adds a new role as the next newsletter editor.

Dan Rambo Coordinated Project Support Bascecamp for the Montrose Mobile Skills Crew construction site. This involved meal plans, sandwich assembly, water delivery and tent setup. He led morning stretches with laughter to prepare trail builders for the days' tasks.

Kathy Mulbrandon As an outings coordinator with the Sierra Club, she co-leads moonlight hikes and promotes backpacking, skiing trips along the IAT. Also helped with literature distribution/stocked map boxes in Verona and a gift wrap fundraiser at a local sporting goods store.

Jen Stehley Mobile Skills Crewleader since 2006 who stepped up into the role of Crewleader Manager at both Cross Plains and Montrose construction sites. She procured the much needed shower facilites. Regular walks with her four-legged companions help monitor the rail trail portions of the IAT.

Dave Lonsdorf Led multiple large groups to remove invasive shrubs during United Way's Days of Caring. As a MSC participant, he learned handcrafted bridge construction techniques. Chainsaw certification has been a major bonus to restoration efforts. Previous chapter secretary too.

Rich Propp Crewleader class of 2009. For all four days of the late Sptember MSC project, he helped keep a bridge crew safe and well organized to complete the 40 foot crossing of an agricultural drainage stream. At the end of evening meals, he pitched in with dishwashing duties.

Irene Cline Wakes up early each morning to get the coffee perking, cracks dozens of eggs and peels pounds of potatoes to fuel Mobile Skills Crew projects across the state. She inspires all with her Thousand-Miler status (hiked the entire trail). You might also meet her at our information table.

Barb Voight "Treadsetter" with attendance at six of eight MSC events this year! She gathered a big bread donation for sandwiches and brought laughter to the lunch line. Farmers' Market/Garden Expo information table is another way she volunteers and shares her thousand-miler stories.
