The John Bell Chapter

John Bell Chapter is a member of both the NATIONAL SOCIETY of the DAUGHTERS of the AMERICAN REVOLUTION and the WISCONSIN SOCIETY of the DAUGHTERS of the AMERICAN REVOLUTION.

Miss Mary Louise Atwood, our first Regent, was given the privilege of selecting our name. She chose the name of a private, John Bell, as she felt that a private was more typical of those brave patriots who had fought and sacrificed to achieve our freedom.
