JOHN BELL CHAPTER DAUGHTERS of the AMERICAN REVOLUTION MADISON, WISCONSIN

The National Patriots Bell Tower, was built entirely by funds raised over a period of more than ten years by members of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). This tower is truly a National treasure, not only because of the outstanding bells within it, but also because of its many other historic and artistic contents, as well as the beauty of the tower itself.
April 2003 was the Golden Anniversary of the Bell Tower and to make sure that it continues to commemorate our Nation's patriots, the NSDAR started a Golden Anniversary Endowment Campaign to raise funds for the many repairs and other needs of the Tower. Just as the DAR built the tower entirely by contributions of its members and chapters, it continues to maintain this national treasure in the same manner. The John Bell Executive Board, on behalf of its members, voted a substantial contribution to the Bell Tower Fund. We also purchased two CDs of Tower music, one of patriotic songs and the other of Christmas music. If you travel to Valley Forge, be sure to look for the Patriots Tower. If you are lucky, you may hear those beautiful bells.
