About Us
The Kujichagulia Madison Center for Self Determination, Inc. goals and mission is to improve the quality of life for Madison's African-American community through positive reinforcement of its heritage as well as enhancing its ability to become a more effective part of the total Madison Community. The Kujichagulia MCSD will work to unite Madison's African American community to address the collective issues that places certain sectors of its community at risk for drug addiction, criminal justice system involvement, homelessness, HIV/AIDS and academic failure. Kujichagulia MCSD will encourage African Americans in the areas of personal and economic empowerment; leadership development through partnerships and advocacy for individuals, families in Madison, focusing predominantly in the African American communities.
