Volunteer and other opportunities
Juneteenth is an opportunity to showcase the talents and gifts of African Americans in Madison. We need dancers, singers, rappers, poets, musicians, choirs and actors to perform on the various stages at the Celebration. In addition, to performers, we are in need of volunteers to help in several areas (i.e. set-up, children's activities, health tent and clean–up). Also we would like local businesses to participate in the Parade. Perhaps you have a company mascot, would like to include a float or a decorated company vehicle. There are many ways in which individuals; groups companies can become involved with the Celebration.
