Dale Fanney
Head High School Coach
Dale Fanney is a veteren master skier in his 3rd year as the Head coach of the Lodi Ski Team. He has skied in several World Loppet races and over 20 Birkebeiners/ Korteloppets. He also skied in the Masters World Cup in Germany'94 and Finland'96 and recently won his age group at the Sibley Ski Race in Thunder Bay. His mission is to promote the sport of xc skiing locally and teach youth to appreciate the value of lifestyle outdoor sports.

Don Fariss
Assistant Coach
Don Fariss is a household name in the Wisconsin world of XC skiing. He started the Rhinelander High School program, coached the MidWest Jr. Olympic Team and headed the Madison Nordic High
School program for many years. A great skier in his own right, Don has won his age group in too many races to count. He has skied the Birkebeiner over 25 times as well as several WorldLoppet races. When Lodi started up a new program 3 years ago, Don pitched in with expert coaching and donated valuable equipment.

Peter Tonn
Head Middle School Coach
Peter is our middle school coach and recent Head coach for the Amery High School program. Luckily he moved to Lodi where he adds his expertise in fundraising, financial planning, and creative ideas along with his coaching experience. Peter's motto is " Don't let work interfere with skiing!".
