Services
Services are provided for people who live within our service area (See website for specifics); some services provided to the homeless.
Our programs include:
Sharing Christmas
A family, a group of employees, or an entire church may "adopt" a family at Christmas by buying gifts for a low-income family. Families are matched with donors and receive gifts for all members of the family.
Clothing Closet
Free clothing is provided in a "store" like setting. Clients can shop the closet once a month and recieve two bags of clothing per member of the household.
Food Pantry
The Food Pantry serves 1000 families a year. Income-eligible clients within the MOM service area can receive enough food ot eat.
Good Samaritan Aid
We provide utility assistance to avoid cut-offs, bus tickets for job searches, emergency motels stays, and other emergency aid.
Housing Help
Matching grants are available to prevent eviction, to subsidize the first month's rent, and to cover security deposits.
Project for Older People
POP keeps seniors (age 65+) living on their own. The program provides rides, friendly visitors, respite care, and chores to help keep the Elderly in their homes.
School Supplies
Free school supplies are provided to children K-12 for families within our service area.
