AFP, an individual member association, advances philanthropy through education, training and advocacy based on research, a code of ethical principles and standards of professional practice. AFP is the largest association of professional fundraisers in the world. Founded in 1960, the association serves 25,000 members in more than 160 chapters in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
