Blues Picnic

The Madison Blues Society has scheduled the 7th Annual Blues Picnic for next summer on Saturday, June 20, 2009 to be held again at beautiful Warner Park. The event will continue to be FREE and OPEN! Bring all your friends and family for another great day of music, food, beer and fun in the sun! As always, carry-ins are perfectly OK. We want you to come and enjoy the day without restrictions!

We'll be having another great lineup of music from the stage with plenty of room for dancing. If just hanging out is your style, there's lots of room for blankets and chairs with shade under the trees. Again, there will be an interesting variety of ethnic and traditional food vendors to give you lots of options. Joe Nosek's Blues Kids will be back again this year and the MBS tent will offer Blues merchandise and memberships. Don't forget about the Prize Raffle! You could be a lucky winner!

Next Madison Blues Society Meeting!

Attending MBS's monthly meetings is really the only way to be on top of things going on in Madison's blues world.

MBS meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of every month. They start at 6:30 PM and end by 8:30 PM. Anyone who is interested in working on MBS's many worthwhile activities in the Madison area is welcome and encouraged to attend these meetings!
