Club Officer Descriptions
Officers serve from July 1 through June 30 of the following year.

President
- Completes the "Distinguished Club Plan" and ensures goals are met by general member participation.
- Presides at officer and regular club meetings; casts a tie-breaking vote.
- Obtains and coordinates volunteers for special projects.
- Announces upcoming Toastmaster events happening at the area, division, and district levels.
- Coordinates mail received from Toastmasters International and others.
- Orders needed supplies from Toastmaster International. Can sign checks to pay for expenses.
- Negotiates and manages contract/arrangements with meeting facility.
Education Vice-president
- Sets meeting agenda and schedules all members for roles during meetings.
- Works with Toastmaster and Evalumaster to fill roles for all meetings.
- Ensures club educational goals are discussed by club and met.
- Promotes regular attendance by members through meeting bulletin.
- Presides at meetings in the absence of the President.
Treasurer
- Collects membership dues and makes payments for expenses as necessary.
- Creates and maintains annual club budget, club checking account/checkbook; writes checks and pays bills.
- Informs Membership Vice-president of dues payments, costs, etc.
- Maintains files of club application forms and financial records.
Secretary
- Records minutes of club officer meetings.
- Maintains club records.
- Assists with special projects.
Membership Vice-president
- Promotes membership to guests and regular attendance by members.
- Makes club information (New member packet) available; assists in membership applications.
- Manages mentor program; solicits and coordinates mentors and mentees.
- Presides when the President and Vice-president of Education are absent.
Public Relations Vice-president
- Writes and distributes information about the club through press releases, newsletters, and other media.
- Works with the Vice-president of membership to recruit and retain club members.
Master Host (Sergeant at Arms)
- Responsible for room setup (arrange lectern, timer clock, display Toastmaster banner/signs, arrange furniture.).
- Distributes speech feedback forms.
- Welcomes guests & members; introduces guests to Membership Vice-president.
Immediate Past President
- Assists club and President on special projects as needed.
