If you've never made it out to a polo match, then make this your year. Many people are surprised to learn that they can watch polo in Madison. With a few hundred clubs across the country, it is a real treat to have such a unique and historic sport right in your own backyard.
Whether you are a horse lover or a sports fan or just enjoy a nice relaxing Summer day sitting around with your friends taking in the countryside, polo has something to offer everyone. And don't worry, polo doesn't have to be like you see in the movies... in Madison you don't have to be high society or get all fancied up to enjoy a match.The season depends on the weather, but generally runs from around May to September. The club practices Tuesday and Thursday evenings around 6pm as well as non-match weekends at various times. Matches and practices are free and open to the public.
