Madison Trust for Historic Preservation

The Madison Trust for Historic Preservation is a non-profit organization established in 1974 to help preserve the architectural and historical heritage of the greater Madison area through advocacy and education.

The demolition of this Greek Revival residence on University Avenue, replaced by a fast-food restaurant, brought the preservation-minded together with one common goal — to preserve Madison’s historic heritage — and the Madison Trust for Historic Preservation was formed.
