Indoor game times for United O40, O30 & Women teams... United went up 2-0, but allowed five straight goals, before netting one more. It's always a rough start indoors, but the 5-3 loss was hard to swallow. The next week, United had a better showing against Osteria Papavero. Justin Lewis put in three goals, Sam Ramirez and Mike Hoeser each had two and Tom Bausch had one. The last goal was scored by Joey Banks, our goalie, who took the ball from his area, beat several defenders and put one in just before the end of the game. It was a great way to end the game. United came away with a 9-2 victory. Last Thursday night, United played KEVA Men's Over-30. United gave up a goal very early, but Sam Ramirez got things started with a pass from Jared Burdick. Jared netted the next two goals, followed by two from Hikmet Tuncsoy. Tom Bausch, Dante Viscarra and Mike Hoeser each added one. United put two more in before Joey Banks took the ball from end to end and had a good shot saved by their keeper. KEVA's goalie had some outstanding saves to prevent United from scoring more. In the end, it was United 11, KEVA 1. The United Over 40 team really struggled on Tuesday evening against Baby Blues on Tuesday night. The final score was a 9 – 3 loss. Shannon Riley opened the scoring for united and Mario Barcena bagged the other two. At the end of the day, United was not match for the Baby Blues.
