Continuing Education Opportunities

Master Gardeners need 10 hours per year for recertification.
Docent Guided Tours count towards these required hours.
Self-Guided tours cannot be included.

Workshops and classes are provided to the public and master gardener volunteers to promote the joy of gardening and the knowledge of plants.

MGV CE Credit NOT AVAILABLE for tours unless an Olbrich docent leads the tour.

Rotary Gardens & Rock County University of Wisconsin-Extension have partnered to offer horticulture education opportunities to the public and master gardener volunteers, including MAMGA members. Earn MGV volunteer credit by joining UW-Arboretum Work Parties. Tools & training provided. See website link for more information, including locations and schedule. 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturdays.

Earn MGV Continuing Education credit by attending classes (classes may have an admission fee).

Earn MGV Continuing Education credit by taking a guided tour or guided walk. Tour times and dates vary. Walks are usually scheduled on weekend mornings and are free to the public.
