Madison Masonic Learning Center for Children, Inc.

     Our annual testing of all students is scheduled for the first three weeks in February. It has been estimated that we may have 14 students testing well enough to meet graduation criteria.

     One of our students received an Outstanding Young Person Award from the Urban League of Greater Madison, Inc. This same student was on the honor role for the first time in his entire educational experience. We are very proud of him.

     We are gearing up for summer school. We have sent out letters to parents to find out how many students will be attending our program this summer. All tutors indicated that they would be working during the summer session. We will be placing students with tutors by the end of February and scheduling should be completed by the middle of March.

     The Center is looking forward to the second "Celebration of Achievement" graduation ceremonies on Thursday, April 1st. Our hope is to have many more Masons join us for the ceremonies this year so they can witness first-hand how their generosity and support has helped so many families.
