Madison Development Corporation is divided into two distinct entities; Affordable Housing and Small Business Lending

The mission of the MDC as a whole is:

-To foster economic development, quality jobs and increase affordable housing as an efficient and effective link between social responsibility and economic development.

-To provide loans and technical assistance to foster socially responsible economic development and affordable housing.

-MDC represents Madison’s core community values: quality of life and opportunity extended to a diverse population.

-MDC enhances Madison’s unique cultural flavor by supporting such enterprises as WORT, The Barrymore Theater, Union Cab, Williamson Street Bicycle Works, Mimosa Bookstore, The Blue Marlin, Luther’s Blues Club…….

-MDC has provided hundreds of homes, thousands of jobs, and millions of dollars to the community in shared prosperity.
