McFarland Hisorical Society Annual Meeting
Date: 3/18/2007
We are serving milk and cookies, deli platters and coffee starting at 1P.M.
This will be followed by a short formal annual meeting and then our speaker is Louis E. Armentano: "Wisconsin-Still America's Dairyland." A history of the development of the dairy industry - both industry wide statistics and snippets of individual experiences, and a glimpse of what the current industry means in proportion to the economy of Wisconsin.
Memorial day Opening & Bake Sale
Date: 5/28/2007
The McFarland Museum at 5814 Main Street will open the season on Memorial Day at 10 AM with a bake sale and a new display celebrating the local dairy industry. The museum will close at 4 P.M. but will be open every Sunday from 1 to 4 P.M. all summer.
