Middleton played well in its first two games of the season. There is a lot of talent on the team and it has shown. The first week produced a win against Madison West and a loss to Madison LaFollette. Middleton poured on the points against Madison West and saw good performances all around the pitch. The most telling statistic was the 0 points allowed. Great team defense that needs to be replicated. Man of the Match was awarded to Steve Statz. The second game of the season was a tough loss to LaFollette 17-12. The team came out very flat and were unable to score in the first half. Focus in the future should be on intensity from the first whistle. The second half was much better and hopefully that can be a bright point going forward. Man of the Match was awarded to Guillermo. Middleton remains in great position to challenge for the top of the division and should be in good shape going forward. Hopefully, we can continue the hard work in practice and focus on game days. This week, Middleton will play at Lake Country. Hopefully, we'll see everyone there. I-94 towards Milwaukee. Exit 285 North on County C Towards Delafield. Continue on CR C to Nashotah. About 1/2 mile past highway 16 is Nashota Park on the left. |
