Volunteer Opportunities
Varied opportunities exist: Lead Thrift Sale volunteer needed to schedule pricing sessions, organize and store priced items for 3-day July event. Preview treasures as you work. Pricing team members also welcome. Intergenerational Program Opportunities available to people 55+ including pairings/interviews with Edgewood Nursing students and U-W Madison medical students, monthly craft program with preschoolers, 4-session monthly discussion forum with high schoolers, and much more. Newsletter Editor needed to coordinate submissions, edit, and write for monthly Messenger. Oversee proofreading assignments, file corrections. Be at the heart of things, volunteer at the Madison Senior Center, downtown. Positions available at varied levels: instructor, Team Leader, support worker.
