African American Cultural Diversity Program

The African American Cultural Diversity Program's primary purpose is to reach out to African American seniors and engage them in a variety of programs and activities that will enhance their knowledge, self-reliance, and promote self advocacy. Our program includes health educational sessions, cultural exchanges, and exposure to the theatre and museums in the community and surrounding areas. Many barriers that promote isolation have been identified and eliminated in our effort to build a sense of community.
