Driver Escort
We are looking for people who would be interested in assisting in driving people to medical appointments, shopping, etc. If you have an interest, you may contact NWDSS at 767-3757 for more information. We will connect you to the Retired Senior Volunteer Program of Dane County to become a RSVP volunteer. Contact Executive Director.
Mobile Meal Drivers
We are looking for someone to volunteer a few hours a week or month to assist with delivery the noon meals to our participant's homes. If you are interested contact NWDSS at 767-3757 and we will assist you with the necessary RSVP paper work. Local businesses are encouraged to contact NWDSS. Contact Executive Director.
NWDSS Board of Directors
We are looking for individuals to volunteer to be a board member of Northwest Dane Senior Services. Time commitment is one full board meeting once a month, if on a committee meetings vary to every three months or as need occurs. Terms of office are 2 and 3 years. If you live or work in our service area you are eligible. 5% of our members can live outside our service area. Call Dee for more details at 767-3757 ext. 222 Contact Executive Director. Office Volunteer
This position assists the staff in answering phones, file maintence, and coordinating RSVP and trasnsportation bus ride requests. The position is very flexible. We are looking for volunteers to commit to a few hours a day one day a week. Contact Volunteer Coordinator.
Rural Respite Volunteer
This position assists the staff in the day to day operations of the Rural Respite program. Some of the tasks include socialization with the participants, sing-a-long, and program implementation. The position is somewhat flexible. We are looking for volunteers to commit to one day a week. Contact Volunteer Coordinator.
Supportive Home Care Worker
Do you want to make a difference in an older adult's life? You can assist them in maintaining their home by providing light housekeeping, laundry, and assisting with meal prepartion and/ or shopping.
