The Food Pantry serves persons in the Oregon School District who are experiencing a financial strain due to any number of factors. A variety of food items are available. The Pantry is open every last Thursday of the month and in November & December the 2nd to the last Thursday.

A-Z Farm Shearing Barn Tour

See where your wool sweater first started. Learn how wool, one of the oldest fibers used by mankind, is produced and harvested. See the shearing process, an explanation of wool types and colors, care of wool and how it is transformed into various articles. Fleeces can be purchased for spinning, crafts and to be made into custom blankets.

2006 South Central Special Olympics Track and Field Meet

Over 600 athletes & coaches will be competing in running & walking events along with many field events including the long jump and shot put.
In Special Olympics we encourage participation and the enjoyment of the activity. We feel that it is important for our athletes to enjoy competing for the sake of competition and the chance to improve on past perfomances. All competitiors are awarded ribbons ranging from 1st to 8th place -everyone is a winner and no one that competes walks away empty handed.
Volunteers are needed! Our desire is to have volunteers who can be present for the entire event. Everyone who helps gets a t-shirt and all-day volunteers receive lunch as well. Once you volunteer for Special Olympics we can almost guarantee you will want to come back!!

Tickets are $20.00 and includes unlimited sampling. Designated driver tickets are also available for $5.00

Easter Seals Drop Off - Downtown Oregon

Couldn't sell everyting at your garage sale? Instead of lugging those items back to the garage, attic or basement consider donating it to Easter Seals Wisconsin.
Easter Seals will have a truck in the Waterman Triangle Park parking lot in Downtown Oregon, on Saturday, May 14 2005, from 12:30 until 6:00 p.m. You can use this convenient location to donate your gently used clothing, blankets, linens, small appliances, toys, games, household items, small furniture etc. An Easter Seals representative will be on hand to help you with your items and give you a receipt for tax purposes. Home pickup can be arranged for larger items. Large appliances, exercise equipment, rods and blinds are not accepted.
Proceeds help Easter Seals provide services for children and adults with disabilities in Wisconsin.

National Night Out Against Crime
