Park Street Partners

The University of Wisconsin has adopted a plan to dramtically transform the quality of the north end of Park Street for students, residents and visitors alike. It will create a pedesetrian mall to link this area with Lake Mendota and the Memorial Union. The plan creates an arts and humanities district that will also include a retail area, student housing and services. The plan will be completed in two phases, with work already starting in 2005.
