The Impact of Domestic Violence on Children Description:The focus of this training will be on how we can assist children when one parent is abusive to another parent. Attention will be given to topics such as: the emotional impact of domestic violence on children; facilitating the parent/child relationship when one parent is a batterer; and how to assist children with recovering from the trauma of domestic violence.
