History
Preserve Our Climate is a group of individuals living in Madison, Wisconsin and the surrounding area who's mission is to encourage and assist Madison area residents, public organizations and institutions,
private interests and publicly elected officials in learning about and in confronting the issue of the changing climate.
The POC coalition group first came together on May 1 (May Day), 2001, as an activity of the Earth Day to May Day action days, held at the UW-Madison
campus. The POC functions as a community-oriented volunteer working group, composed of members of the community, working for the benefit of the community and the environment as a whole.
