Membership
To join the POC, email the POC group listserv moderator at mtneuman@juno.com.*
Members of the group may represent themselves only, or they may also represent organizations, neighborhoods, businesses, agencies or political jurisdictions. The only requirement for membership is that they are concerned about the growing issue of climate change and are looking to help do something about it, in a timely manner.
Subscribers to the POC group listserv, located at www.yahoogroups.com, are encouraged to post the following types of information:
- Information that may help others better understand the connection between global warming/climate change, energy consumption and human activities
- Announcements of meetings, conferences and activities, and meeting minutes, relative to conserving energy and reducing activities that burn fossil fuels
- Accomplishments in promoting energy conservation and reducing fossil fuel dependence in Dane County
- Ideas and/or proposals for reducing energy use and less dependence on fossil fuel burning
- Discussion of issues relevant to greenhouse gas emission and reduction
