Winter sports season is starting. Check with coaches, staff and your East Booster Club Sports Rep to get information about the upcoming winter sports opportunities at East, and see first practice date info for winter sports on our events page. All teams welcome new talent and looking for great new team members. Only requirement is some great spirit!

Our 'East on Ice' 2010 fund raiser event has moved to a Friday night and we've gone totally casual! Moms, dads, friends of East, put on your jeans, maybe an East spiritwear t-shirt and come out for some relaxed grown-up fun! The next Booster Club meeting is Tuesday, January 11th in the East LMC (2nd floor) at 7:00 p.m. New volunteers always welcome and always appreciated! Anyone interested in supporting East athletics, please come! Bring your ideas too!

CURRENTLY AVAILABLE BOOSTER CLUB VOLUNTEER POSITIONS . . . Vice President, Treasurer, special event workers, special committee workers, and ideas people.

WHAT IT MEANS TO VOLUNTEER . . . We meet once a month. We also help with concession sales at games, do East clothing (spiritwear) sales and special events like the All Sports Night kick-off dinner, annual golf outing, "East on Ice" celebration, and more. Its fun and easy (no experience necessary), and its to raise money and provide support to East athletics. Your donations of money and time are critical in helping to maintain and grow East athletic programs.

BOOSTER CLUB MEMBER ACCOMPLISHMENTS . . . From just this past year alone, we raised money to purchase new scoreboards for fieldhouse, a new ice machine for trainer's room, paid for coaches clinics, bought new uniforms, new warmups, new basic game required equipment, including safety eguipment like helmets and mats, and more. Remember, to volunteer or make a donation to East athletics, contact anyone on our 'Officers and Sports Rep' page and PLEASE join the Booster Club today! Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! to the Madison East High School Purgolders Booster Club web site! The Booster Club is a group of parents, staff, alumni and friends of East High School that provide support ALL of our sports teams at East by working to raise money to purchase much needed supplies, equipment, uniforms, and/or capital items beyond what the district athletic budget can provide. Our mission is to enrich the East High School athletic community and the community at large by helping to provide financial support for East High School athletics. Each of the sports at East High School has an adult representative who meet with the Purgolder Booster Club Board on a monthly basis to serve as a liaison for that sport.

Money is raised through Booster Club memberships and other key fundraising activities, such as: selling local business ads, hosting an annual golf outing, concessions sales at games, spiritwear sales, and sales of specialty products or other special events. During each school year, the Booster Club provides thousands of dollars support directly to East athletics raised through your donations and hard work on fundraising activities. In addition to your financial support, please feel free to contact any Booster Club officer or rep listed on the Officers and Sports Reps contact page with more ideas on how you could to contribute or volunteer your time.
