Our next Table Reading will be from 7pm until about 8:30pm on Thursday September 4th. We will be reading Our Miss Brooks "Mr Conklin's Award". We will also be reading Campbell's Short Short Story "Good Salesman" and the first Superman episode "Baby From Krypton". If time permits we will read one of our original commercials for "Propiel Pocket Boss Fogger" and a commercial for Sure Mix Crisco Please print your own scripts and bring them with you. It is impossible for us to provide enough printed scripts for all those who attend. Table Readings are, as the name implies, a time when we get together to read over scripts. This is often a very relaxed and informal time usually held the first week of every month. This is a time to try new voices and personifications etc.
Table Readings are held monthly to allow Radio Active! members to experiment with various roles in scripts from radio's Golden Age. It's also a way for Radio Active! to help pick scripts for upcoming performances. Table Readings are open to the public.
